On or about November 21, 2014, Lincoln Investment filed a Form U5 Uniform Termination Notice for Securities Industry Registration (the “Form U5”), which disclosed Beemer engaged in private securities offerings “away” from Lincoln Investment. In the securities industry, this type of activity often stems from securities fraud.
FINRA’s Department of Enforcement attempted to investigate Beemer’s alleged misconduct and sent a letter to Beemer, pursuant to FINRA Rule 8210, requesting that he appear for testimony on January 12, 2015. According to FINRA, Beemer refused to provide on-the-record testimony, and otherwise, refused to cooperate with FINRA’s investigation. As a result, Beemer was permanently barred from associating with any FINRA member in any capacity.
